El Día de los Muertos celebration, Saturday, Nov. 2, 4 p.m.

Did you know that UNESCO declared The Day of The Dead as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity? As practiced by the indigenous communities of Mexico, el Día delos Muertos (Day of the Dead) commemorates the transitory return to Earth of deceased relatives and loved ones.

This is an invitation to join me to celebrate and honor OUR ANIMAS (souls) who have left us with an Altar de Muertos, and practicing some of the traditional rituals on this special day. Bring a picture of your loved ones, including pets, or a special item or charm in remembrance of them, bring a candle.

We will offer face painting and some refreshments. You are welcome to bring a snack to share!
